All of our guards are New York State certified and registered with the New York State Department of State. In addition, candidates must undergo extensive background screening, including:

Fire Guards are New York City Fire Department Certified. Armed guards all have law enforcement backgrounds.

Patrol Vehicles

Patrol Vehicles are all equipped with Gold Shield Security decals and roof lights to provide a visual deterrent against robbery, vandalism and other criminal activity. Radio communication is also provided for fast communication during emergency situations.

Gold Shield Security can also provide signs and guard booths if necessary to alert the area that you have taken extra measures to provide for the protection of your property.

Security Consulting

Polygraph Examinations

The Polygraph is still the most effective way for verifying truth and uncovering deception. Police departments, Federal agencies and the Military all currently utilize polygraph testing. We specialize in employee theft, inventory loss and domestic testing. In specific losses or acts of sabotage, polygraph examinations may be administered as long as they meet the guidelines of the Employment Polygraph Protection Act and State laws. All polygraph testing is conducted in strict confidence. All examiners are members of the American Polygraph Association (APA).
